1968 Chevrolet Corvette C3 427 Big Block 4-Speed for sale in Sonoma California. Finished in Safari yellow. Originally rolled off the St Louis assembly line in the fall of 1967. Well documented car. Originally sold new in Indiana. Order sheet and the remains of the build sheet retrieved from the fuel tank show the car to be nicely equipped from the factory with a 390HP 427 Big Block L6 with Hydraulic Lifters and 4-Barrel Carburetor; 4-Speed Manual M21 Close-Ratio transmission and Posi-Traction Rear-end. In addition, he car was equipped with Power Steering, ower Windows, peed Warning Indicator as well as an Auxiliary Hardtop (No longer with the car), M/FM Radio and Tinted Windshield.
The car starts; runs and drives great! The engine is smooth and powerful with no smoking and plenty of oil pressure. The shifting is smooth, p and down through all the gears. The brakes and suspension are responsive as well. The oil pressure, ater temperature, mmeter, uel gauge, ll in working order. Very nice and functional Corvette!
Between 1975-1991 the previous owner serviced, ebuilt and went through the car as needed including rebuilding the engine just over 30k miles ago. (Note that the engine code is CE "Credit Exchange", eaning it was replaced by dealer with like engine while under warranty. Extensive documentation shows continuous care over the years. The current California owner, sports car enthusiast purchased the car years ago and has used lightly and kept serviced and road ready.
This is a nicely preserved, eady to enjoy vintage C3 ready to use as is yet certainly a formidable, orthy candidate for an eventual full restoration if a "new" C3 is what you desire.

All transactions will be charged a $55 documentation fee in addition to the sales price. If leaving the state or country, he car must be picked up by a transportation company that can provide a bill of lading, therwise California sales tax will be charged. (All licensed transport companies provide these). Personalized plates on vehicles (if any) belong to the owner of record and cannot be included with the vehicle.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of the auction close. The remaining balance is due within 72 hours of the close of auction, nless other arrangements were made. Accepted payment methods are bank wire transfers, ashier's checks and money orders. If you wish to obtain financing, lease do so ahead of time. We reserve the right to end the auction early. We also reserve the right to verify any or all bids to ensure exceptional auction integrity. Please do not ask the reserve amount, s we will not disclose this information.
Transportation expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We cannot be held liable for any problems or damages arising from or due to transportation handling. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and fees from point of sale to the final destination. In addition, t is the buyers responsibility to arrange & coordinate shipping. We are happy to provide a list of transporters but by providing this information we are not able to guarantee your satisfaction with the services you are provided. Mechanical damage can occur to classic vehicles when transported improperly, ot tied down correctly, riven up and down steep ramps repetitively to load and unload other vehicles, tc. Retractions: We will not accept bid retractions. If you bid and retract you will be added to our blocked bidder list and future bids will not be accepted. If you do not follow up on your purchase you will be reported to ebay's safe harbor and we will submit your username to ebay's non-paying bidder program.
