Description:

1975 Chevrolet Corvette

Very rare, orig. (T) code L-82, 4-speed manual, A/C Corvette Coupe....(2,372 L-82's built in '75)
Extremely rare color combo for '75..... Factory dark red/dark red leather. Dark red (and dark blue) leather were dealer-only options for 1975
California Car for over 36 years
History: "original" owner Pat purchased this car when it was 6 months old in 1976. Unable to get a L-82 car in the state of California in 1975 due to new emissions laws, this car was purchased on a dealer trade from Colorado and shipped back to CA for Pat. She kept the car until 2013 with receipts dating back to '76 and lots of original ppwk at the time of purchase from John Roth Chevrolet in Merced, Ca.
Ownership: Known history of ownership :
Pat - '76 - '13
Mechanic friend of Pat - '13-'14
Me - '14 - '19
Engine: Rebuilt L-82, 350 cu. in. small block V-8.....putting out over 250hp due to true dual exhaust (no catalytic converters) and modern ignition, spark plugs, plug wires
Odometer (5-digit) shows 85,000.....actual mileage 185,000 according toppwk
Exterior: Hagerty #2 overall condition, repaint orig. color back in the 80's (looks like a gel-coat)....absolutely beautiful car, few typical fiberglass paint imperfections
Interior: Interior matches exterior perfectly,...in both color and condition
Drivability : Car starts, runs and drives great. Engine stays very cool. Original Borg Warner 4 speed has been rebuilt in '15 (new 2nd gear and all new syncs) all gears shift smooth and tight. I also rebuilt the entire front end with all new Moog rubber and installed a new, original style, 9 leaf spring in the rear. I also put all new Cooper Cobra Radials on the car in '15 (showing somewear). This car drives very nicely
Work that needs to be done : - Car needs a proper 4 wheel alignment, can't be done correctly due to the RR transaxle pulling out, told my mechanicit needs a pin - Radiator rebuild or replacement....small leak - A/C - Heater blower unit needs some work, I replaced the face with a brand new piece and could not get the blower to work properly again -Taillights/Brake lights are not working properly, told it is most likely a ground issue
