1970 Monte Carlo Convertible Project.

1970 Monte Carlo Convertible Project,. There is a Ton of Metal work in this Project it is all in 2k Primer.It was a 1970 Monte Carlo that Came from California It was 95% rust free. Only rust was in the bottom of the front fenders, and top of cowl, but not very bad. We used a 1970 Cutlass as a donor car. It has new A.M.D Full quarters on it only reason for changing is i had to cut them off to do the conversion properly. I used New Chevelle Convertible Inner Wheel Houses, and Outer Wheel houses sectioned into the original outer Monte Carlo outer wheel houses, with all body work to outer wheel houses being done before quarters went on just so it looked factory if looking in through the trunk It has a new Convertible rear seat divider. The top front sections of the quarters were all custom fabricated to use 70-72 Chevelle Window fuzzies. The underside of body was all sanded and painted gloss black enamel, and the rear wheel tubs were done with a spray on bed liner, rust free deck lid and fits well. Doors were 100% rust free. Fenders we made our own custom lower sections and welded in. it has good fender extensions, and perfect bumper filler panel. Core support and all hood latch and front end brackets were all blasted and painted blitz black, new Fire wall, & new, Upper Cowl. Floors are all rust free and all original no patches, do have new bucket seat mounting brackets installed, & console mount installed. The convertible top Bows were all disassembled sandblasted and painted blitz black, And are bolted on and go up and down by hand. New Header Bow & Good original Top Latches .Quarter extensions are the original ones in great shape. Has a Stock Flat hood I'm throwing in, not the best but repairable. The Frame was one of the cleanest I've seen,I blasted it welded boxing plates in to look like original convertible frame, and painted all blitz black. Rear end is a 10 bolt with all new brakes, new drums, new wheels cylinders, new line, Hose, new Eaton posi unit, new Richmond 355 gears. Has Boxed lower control arms with all new bushings upper and lower, new rear sway bar, new Moog rear springs, new rear shocks, The Front Suspension is all new. A -Arms have been blasted and powder coated with all new bushings and ball joint, new inner and outer tie rods, new idler arm new center link new shock, all new front brakes, rotors calipers brackets & lines, wheel bearings. Body is bolted down with all new body bushings. Nice Convertible rear seat. original dash, and nice pad, Good Straight Floor shift steering column, all heater assembly, with new heater cor, new fire wall pad installed, all Also comes with the Following New and Used Parts not Shown, but are Included:

New AMD Glass Kit, Windshield, Door Glass, And Quarter Glass,

New Window Fuzzies, New Door Seals, New U Jamb seals. New body gasket set.

New Rear A.M.D. rear Bumper. With Original Bumper Brackets all blasted and painted With Bolts

New Rear License Plate Door, New Convertible Top latch Receptacles & Guide pin.

New convertible Rain Gutter, New Convertible top Cables, New vinyl Strip for above windshield.

New Gauge Cluster with Original 70 Speedometer and Clock with new Shift worx Tach and Gauge conversion with new lens, & comes with senders.

New Tail Panel Trim, 3 pcs. Kit. New Side Body Molding Kit with clips, New Rocker Moldings,

New Headlight Bezels, New Fender Extension Lower Chrome Moldings.

Stock window regulators front and rear, and internal door parts,

Complete Power Window regulators with Wiring and switches.

Good Original windshield and rear convertible opening stainless Trim,

Nice Original Inner a pillar covers, Original rear view Mirror and visor Bases.

Original 70 grill, & Parking Lights With Lenses, Side Marker Lights, and Tail Light lenses and bezels.

Original SB Fan shroud with top Plate, Original Black kick panels,

Original front Bumper Brackets all blasted and painte, original front license plate bracket.

Good original wire harness, original wiper motor,

Good Working original Convertible top Pump and rams with lines, Original rear inner Side panels, Need repaired, and covered,

There is also Extra lenses, bezels, tail light Extensions, Brackets and More

Would be a very nice Unique car when finished I have over 400 man hours in Conversion, Comes with clean clear IA Tittle.
