1966 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II Wagon

We love Novas because they have a sleeper style that can still fit serious power under the hood. So it only gets amplified on a cool custom wagon like this 1966 Chevy II Nova. So while others enjoy the grocery-getter looks, you'll be passing them all with a performance-built small block power... and doing it all while riding in A/C comfort. These wagons were more expensive than the Super Sport coupes when new, and so they're always a... rare sight today. That's why you're looking at a carefully crafted custom with less than 2,200 miles on the build. The freshness is seen the moment it arrives, because the modern red paint was borrowed from a premium Cadillac palette. It has a deep shine from a quality application, and so it really shows off the crisp lines of these Novas. Plus, you can tell more was invested in the brightwork with the bright grille, complete trim, and re-chromed bumpers. And while all those investments make for an eye-catching classic, they also made sure this one leaves hints at its performance heart. The tall cowl hood, racing flag fender badges, and polished 15-inch Boyd Coddington wheels give this one an instant intimidation factor, too. The black interior is just as fresh as the exterior, and they made sure to invest heavily in the right components. This keeps a nod to the family hauler past by retaining the full width benches. But now they are custom units by Street Seats that offer nice bolstering and finished in a supple leather. And even the details are great with all the trim chromed for maximum shine against the black. Because this is a car you'll want to share with family and friends, there are features everyone will enjoy like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth, power windows, and cold R134a air conditioning. But the best treats are reserved just for you. The black and chrome sports steering wheel is mounted on a Flaming River tilt column. It gives you a clear view to the custom gauge panel filled with VDO readouts â€" including a large speedo and tach. You're going to love lifting the hood at car shows, because this one shines so bright. We love all the polished components like the valve covers, air topper, alternator, compressor, master cylinder, and much more. And because it's presented in such a smooth color-matched engine bay, you know this presentation can earn you awards all on its own. But more than just look great, there's plenty of substance behind the flash. It's a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 that's bored .30 over and has been enhanced and fortified for performance. This includes a steel crank, pink rods, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy camshaft, aluminum roller rockers, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Griffin aluminum radiator, and topped with an Edelbrock intake and four-barrel carburetor. The full setup has been blueprinted and balanced, so you know it's a quality street machine. The headers and exhaust are completely ceramic coated so they look terrific. And while you're checking those out in the undercarriage photos, you'll spot great suspension upgrades like the TCI front end with tubular A-arms and adjustable coilovers, frame extensions, and sway bars front & rear. This one is great for anything you want on the road because the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission has a Corvette torque converter with 2,000 RPM stall. And don't forget that this stout unit has an overdrive for great highway cruising. It's this anytime appeal that will make you also love features like the power steering and four-wheel disc brakes. There's so much on this build that we just don't have the room to list it all. So call us for all the info. We'll even go over the included build receipts and restoration photos that document this amazing custom Nova. Don't let this distinct classic slip away, call today!
