1964 Chevrolet C-10

This is a 1964 Chevy C10 short bed Step Side pickup truck that began life in Texas. It has been mechanically updated substantially while keeping the style and flair of the original truck. Original body with much patina.Some body rust is evident, with some spots rusted through, but body is sound with frame showing surface rust only.I use the truck as a daily driver, and tow my boat with it. Overall it is in superior condition.

Mechanical upgrades in every system.LS1 truck engine, with Corvette throttle body and intake manifold. New fuel tank with sender and Corvette style fuel pump. LS1 radiator, trans cooler, and electric fan, 4L80E transmission with Lokar floor shift, custom driveshaft, and Ford Explorer 8.8 rear end with positraction and rear disc brakes. The truck has been lowered using front drop spindles with GM disc brakes on stock control arms. A late model GM power dual master cylinder completes the braking system. Rear suspension is modified stock truck arms with rear panhard bar. New short springs and shocks all around.Classic Performance power steering conversion. New front tires on late model Chevy truck wheels with moon hubcaps. Rear tires at 50%, on similar late model wheels and hubcaps. New oak bed with stainless strips and hardware. Interior upgrades as well. Sound block material applied to inside cab areas before being covered with new GM spec carpet. The wiring system has been completely replaced. The original gauge cluster has been refurbished with all gauges and lights working, except for the speedometer. The mileage shows 61,002 but cannot be verified as the speedometer was inoperative when I purchased the truck. The original steering column is in place with rebuilt wiring, turn signals, and bearings. Vintage Air Gen 4 AC/heat/defrost and Pioneer AM/FM/CD unit. All work professionally done.
