1979 Chevrolet G20 Van SPORTVAN

A true GARAGED SURVIVOR, bought last year from the widow of the original owner who bought it showroom new in 79.

The "SportVan" Model is a rare early 1/2 Passenger, 1/2 Cargo van,

with a second row middle bench seats plus more fully finished floor matts and factory rear covering than a standard cargo van.

Extremely Straight, 100% Original Paint. 98% RUST FREE, NO CRACKS IN DASH, even the floor matts are in excellent condition front to back.

( The ONLY rust is small spot on one wheel lip as shown in photo, which must have been from a drip in the garage because it is not on opposite side or anywhere else. )

Original 350 Motor - just turned over at 101K - Runs Strong - with COLD WORKING A/C. Rare tilt column steering wheel, Original uncut AM/FM radio intact.

Original owner put in button tuft door panels and headliner ( Only ), which is so period correct it almost looks factory.

Headliner is perfect, door panels are in great condition, except for wear under drivers door handle.

Deluxe exterior upper and lower trim is in great condition, as are original Rally wheels and trim rings.

Pop out windows on both sides and rear doors, which is also extremely rare for a van optioned with A/C.

I just put almost $6000. worth of work into it - see receipts in pics - including :

new brakes, bushings, suspension, shocks, rebuilt carb, tune up, fluids, etc. plus brand new BFG TA's all around.

I have not even had the van buffed out or detailed yet and the original paint still shines, with a little more attention it would absolutely sparkle.

I bought, shipped and fixed up this van to keep, but other projects require that I let it go...
