1982 Chevy Camaro Berlinetta with 32,731 original miles. The first owner passed away in 2014 at the age of 88. His nephew bought it and kept it a few more years. At the age of 74, he could not get in or out of it. Its been adult owned and kept in a garage, and was driven less than 1000 miles a years. I personally spoke with the last owner, and he filled me in on the details. The paint has an incredible shine for being 37 years old. I can't find any rust or rot.
It has a 172 cubic inch V6 with 100 horse power. 2 barrel carb with choke. Step on the gas pedal once and it starts right up. Automatic transmission.
The defects I could find are, the AC does not work. I was told by the previous owner all it needs is Freon. The right window motor regulator makes a grinding noise, but the window goes up and down. The tires need to be replaced. It has after market fog lights that do not work. The car is not registered or insured, so we cannot test drive on highway, but we can drive around the block. The car has been sitting for a few years, so it will need general maintenance as well.
