Description:

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS

You are bidding on a true 1969 Chevelle SS 396/350hp Daytona Yellow car with paint code 76/76 on the trim tag. The engine is a true date correct JC code L34 engine. The transmission is a date correct M-20 muncie casting number #3925660, the intake manifold is date correct as well casting number #3931067. I bought this car in Colorado and was restoring it in our Classic car restoration shop. The frame is powder coated and finished, all the suspension, brake pads, Brake disc on front and drums on rear, brake lines, fuel lines are brand new and on the car. All parts are OEM parts with some original mixed in. The car needs the body work finished, THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS CAR! when I say body work, it needs put together and prepped for paint. It has new quarters put on and comes with new fenders, hood (AMD), trunk is original. I will list parts underneath. This cars engine was professional rebuilt and bored .30 over. The block was virgin and never bored before the rebuild. Transmission was rebuilt also and rear end! It has a 3.73 rear end in it that is brand new. All work was professionally done. This car obviously comes as is and no warranty is implied in any way. The car has about 70% of what it needs to be finished. I am selling the car as is and shipping is to be arranged by the buyer. I will help with loading if needed. I own a restoration shop and can finish the car at a negotiated price if the buyer is interested, but either way I'm happy if you want to buy it and do it yourself! I am putting this up for auction and the reserve is very reasonable. I have over $24,000 invested in this car. The engine and transmission have $9000.00 in them alone. Happy bidding and whoever gets this girl is getting a nice half finished project.Parts list:LH Fender NEWRH Fender NEWRadiator support NEWHood SS NEWLH Door NEWHood hinges and springsRH Door in primerTrunk lid originalLH and RH front wheel wells NEWHeater core NEWUnder dash heater boxGauge cluster- speedo, fuel, gen, oil, temp lightFront bench seat originalRear bench seat originalSteering columnGlovebox doorBack glass, Door glass, Quarter glass originalWindow regulators originalGrillePower steering pump usedMisc. window trim not completePedal assemblyLower grille brace NEWFront noseHeadliner bowsWiper motor usedParking brake pedal originalLots of misc pieces lights bolts bracketsBushings for body mount NEWKick panels originalDistributor not originalSpark plug wiresSeat belts.I have been honest about this car! IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL JIM AT 740-3504422I can also give you a price if you want our shop to finish the car! In 1969 GM stopped put SS identification in the first three numbers of the vin 138, The only way you can tell if you have a true 1969 SS is if you have the original paper work or the color code of Monaco Orange or 76 code Daytona Yellow. This is the real deal!
