TRUE Patina look!

For sale is a 1952 (5) window 3100 pickup truck with a LS1 engine, 700R4 automatic transmission.The truck rolls on a '79 Camaro front suspension and a '79 Corvette 3:73 posi-trac rear suspension.It has 4-wheel independent suspension and has 4-wheel disc brakes.

Engine; LS1 with a dual line Holley carburetor, an Eldelbrock intake with an Eldelbrock programmable timing control module (unit as 6 different "plug-in" modules to change ignition firing for your driving style) replaces the original throttle body. All LS throttle body parts have been removed and replaced with the aluminum Eldelbrock intake parts. Engine has always held a good oil pressure.Cooling is handled with an aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan controlled by programmable relay. The engine has never run hot, even at interstate speeds.Exhaust exists through Hedman headers with new mufflers and "Corvette style" pipes extending pass rear roll pan at rear of truck.

Transmission; 700R4, 4-speed with overdrive making it a 5-speed automatic transmission.

Front suspension is a '79 Camaro. Power steering gear was replaced with a NAPA rebuilt unit. All control arm, pivot arm, and idler arm bushings were replaced as needed.

Rear differential; '79 Corvette 3:73 ratio posi-trac with all new u-joints in both axles and u-joints in new custom driveshaft. This ratio seems to works really well for all driving (town & highway).

Cab; the truck is in same condition as when I purchased it.It has a True Patina look. The bench seat has been replaced with bucket seats. All dash panels were replaced with chrome plated panels and chrome glove box door. Both doors and window seals were replaced, doors shut good and tight. No rattles!Shoulder seat belts are used on both sides. All required mirrors are mounted on truck. All instrument gauges have been replaced with new Dolphin gauges. Windshield wipers have been converted to 12-volt system. New chrome dash panels, globe box door and ash tray make it look like a new truck. New Cooper Cobra tires front (P215/70R15) and rear (P255/70R15). New brake pads and new Monroe shocks are fitted all around. Gas tank with electric fuel pump is mounted under the bed. The truck has a great heater and defroster with temperature control valve.

The original bed has been replaced with oak boards and painted metal strips. The original tail gate is operable.

This truck was found sitting in the hot, dry Texas atmosphere for years before being saved to live again!

Overall; this truck is a very trusted daily driver. I have driven this truck from Kentucky to Houston Texas and back without ANY problem! You do not need a "follow" vehicle when driving this truck! I have currently put 7638 miles on this truck since the new Dolphin speedometer and other gauges were put in. You can run down to the corner grocery store or cross country to go skiing! For any questions please call me at 270-887-6022. The truck is currently located in Kentucky.
