It's hard to believe this truck is 30 years old, this era of truck still seems new to me. Anyway, what we have here is a true time capsule, this is one very clean truck that is completely rust free. The interior is all original and is excellent shape, no cracks on the dash like most of them have and it even has the original carpet that is in great shape. The door panels are also great, no cracks and not faded, the only thing I can pick the interior for is the headliner and visors are a little tired, not drooping but they could be replaced to match the rest of the quality of the truck. You'll notice in the pics a set of custom gauges mounted to the A Pillar, tach, water temp, and oil pressure, all the factory gauges work except temperature since the A pillar replaced it for more accuracy. The factory radio works as well as the factory AC and heat, all works as it should, wipers work too. The bed of the truck had a plastic bed liner in it and the metal in the bed is perfect, couple of holes where it was screwed in but no rust or wear in the bed. The truck was originally all white and looks to have had one respray, they added the blue two tone to match the interior. The paint job is what I'd call a 6 or 7 out of 10 and I'm picky, body work is great and the truck is very straight, little bit of orange peel in the paint and isn't 100% perfect show car stuff. Overall, most would think this is a show truck, we build very high end vehicles at my shop so we are very conscience about paint and quality. The underside of this truck is very clean, no rust, no damage, looks factory. Under the truck you'll find a vacuum pump that keeps the power brakes feeling like factory, the reason for this is the big cam in the engine (we'll get to that part later). The brakes are stock disc in front and drum in rear, stops great, no issues. The rearend has been rebuilt with 3.73 gears and a positrac, the driveshaft is a custom built steel unit. The suspension has been slightly modified with drop springs to drop it what looks like 2" in front and 3-4" in rear, nice look, not too low. The transmission is a freshly built 700R4 with a shift kit and 2000 rpm stall converter, it works perfectly and is solid. The best part of the whole truck though, is under the hood. This freshly built 350 runs great, makes about 425 HP, runs cool, has 70 psi of oil pressure, doesn't smoke, runs on pump gas and sounds like a beast at idle (see video). The engine has less than 1000 miles on it and has a Comp Cams hydraulic roller, roller rockers, stud girdles, and Pro Maxx aluminum heads. On top of the aluminum heads is an aluminum intake manifold with a 650 billet Holley Double pumper with an electric choke. We recently changed the oil and filter and added JoeGibbs Driven 10-40 oil with a Wix racing oil filter. We also added a set of NGK plugs, so the tuneup is fresh and it runs perfectly, starts easily every time, cold or hot. The truck has an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, the factory pulley system is all there and works right. The truck has a set of full length headers and dual Flowmaster mufflers and 2.5" exhaust. It has a great sound. Overall, this is a tough truck to fine, one that has been slightly modified but is still a clean original truck that could be daily driven or better yet, a weekend or nice weather cruiser. You won't find more bang for the buck and this series of trucks are quickly rising in price. We have the truck for sale locally so bid early or hit the buy it now, we are also welcome to inspections, put it up on the lift and look it over. Some of the info I have on the truck is from the previous owner and receipts that were in the glove box, I didn't build it but everything looks and sounds correct. I do not finance or hold vehicles, if you want it you must send a deposit to lock it in or show up with cash in person. I will ship at your expense after I've been paid, no scams or games, we've seen them and heard them all. Please check with your wife or any other family members that need to approve the transaction before you hit the buy it now. It just messes things up when you can't close the deal.
