Originally built in Los Angeles, CA; this car underwent an extensive frame-off restoration some time ago and looks exceptional to this day.
During the restoration; the original exterior colors of Shadow Gray over Coral (Code 627) were re-applied professionally. As you can see from the photos; the exterior of the car is in phenomenal condition with proper gaps as well as near flawless stainless and chrome. Feel free to shoot your eye down the sides of the Tri-Five... you won't find a wave or a ripple! This is one of the most desirable color combinations for this era, and the quality of the restoration only adds to the stunning beauty of the car. This beautiful hardtop is sitting on a correct set of painted steel wheels with hubcaps, and wide whitewall radial tires.
The factory 2-tone Gray / Coral (Code 532) vinyl and cloth interior is in mint condition as well as the matching door panels. The dashboard, carpet and headliner are in just as nice of shape as the rest of the car! The door handles and window cranks are all in excellent shape as is all the factory glass. The windows roll up and down perfectly, and the interior / dash lights are nice and bright.
The engine bay is fully detailed to factory specs, so anyone would be extremely proud to open the hood of this baby at the local car show or cruise-in! Feel free to take a look at the trunk, because the restoration didn't forget about it! The spacious trunk is fully detailed as well with a full-size spare.
The factory 265 V8 purrs like a kitten and starts right up with ease. The factory 2-speed PowerGlide transmission shifts perfectly. Both engine and transmission were completely rebuilt during the restoration with minimal miles driven since.
