Description:

1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne

Thank you for taking the time to check out my auction. Please take the time to read my description in full as well as my terms of sale. Up for auction or buy it now is this beautiful Survivor 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 4wd pick up truck. I believe this is one of the best examples of a well taken care of unrestored 72 Cheyenne 4wd out there!! Previous owner stated that this truck had been in his family since 1980. His grandfather bought it off a local Chevrolet dealership in 1980. This truck has been well maintained and stored inside ever since. They used it for towing there 20ft boat to the local lake and to the lumber store and what not. The truck was his baby and he treated it as such. The truck still retains its original number matching 350 V8 engine. Sometime in the late 80's they had the original heads rebuilt and installed a new timing chain and a carb rebuilt. The transmission was also pulled out serviced and had a shift kit installed. The previous owner also stated that they took the truck in quite a few years ago and had some small paint repair professionallydone and a new clear coat to preserve the original paint. Check out the pics!! This truck looks amazing for being a unrestored truck with mostly original paint. Has a few very minor rock chips down low to be expected from driving. All of the trim, grill, door handles, mirrors and front bumper are original G.M as well. The back bumper is a aftermarket option that was chosen for towing. Also has a receiverstyle hitch and a brake controller. This truck is as solid as they come!! They rockers are rust free and original as are the floors, cab braces and mounts, kick panels, cab, corners, windshieldframe as well as the rest of the truck. I have pictures of the underside as well. The truck has never been undercoated as well. Nothing to hide on this beauty!! This truck is obviously the highly sought after original Medium red/ Hugger orange with Black saddle scroll interior with factory tilt wheel, factory rear window slider, factory tinted glass, factory manual throttle control, has a factory tach but was added along the way as was the chrome ashtray, glovebox door and heater box. Comes with the original build sheet and manuals.. Has a uncut dash with a Pioneer 2 knob AM/FM cassette stereo with two Pioneer 6x9 speakers. About 6 years ago the grandfather passed the truck down to his grandson. He added the new 4inch rancho lift,32inch BFG all terrain tires, rebuilt the front end,new brakes, stainless headers and dual exhaust with Flowmasters. That's were I came into the picture. I collect 1967 thru 1972 Chevy pick ups and K5 Blazers. This truck was so nice I could not pass it up. All the body lines are great. The doors click shut with your finger. The truck run's and drives as good as it looks. I drove it home 65-70mph for 2 hrs down the freeway with no problems at all.I drive it all the time. My Duramax has been sitting since I bought the truck!! lol. The steering is tight. Holds great oil pressure and temp. The brakes work great. Everything works on this truck like it did from the factory. Not very many out there that are like this without a huge $$$ frame off restoration. They are only original once! This is a true turn key driver that you could take anywhere. I have other priority's right now or believe me this one would be staying in the collection. Truck attracts a lot of attention. Be fore warned that if you buy this truck you will have to get used to 1/2hr conversationsevery time your putting gas in it!! If you have been in the market for a super solid survivor truck with great options and colors you might want to check this one out. These trucks are gaining in value like crazy as I am sure you are well aware of if your reading this. This truck is a solid investment that will only keep gaining in value for the new owner. I have priced this truck reasonably and to sell.
