You are looking at a 1953 Chevy 3100 5 window 1/2 ton truck that I picked up from in a barn where it had been sitting for last 22 years waiting for barn owner to restore it. The restoration was started but not completed so owner was ready to part with it since nothing was getting done to his truck. Anyway the owner of truck was not able to do the work so was paying someone and there was a 4 year non speaking between them so I ended up buying it. This truck was completely apart as you can see by two of the pictures I displayed showing where it came from. It does need restored and it appears most of the parts are there. The cab has the cab corner patch panels and front lower cowl repair panel for both sides they started left side already. There is also a brand new bed kit both bed side, front panel, tailgate, cross members wood and inserts for wood along with all the hardware chains, chain, sleeves, bolts, tailgate and hinge, wood it is kit number 6947 from Jim Carter. Truck has been taken down to bare metal just about everywhere. I assembled most of what you see just to hold together for pictures and transporting. There are cans and boxes of parts for the truck as you can see in some of the pictures. I also have several other pictures if you need to see them let me know we can email to you. The mileage shows 47789. The frame has been cleaned wire brushed and painted tires hold air. it does roll freely. This will take some work to complete but will make a great street rod, rat rod, original restoration. Does have title but needed to send for it as it got misplaced so title will be here in about 2-3 weeks last PA inspection was 4/89 .
