1969 Chevrolet C-10 Custom

You want cool? You've got it with this 1969 Chevy C10 pickup. With a high-visibility paint job, a smooth small block V8 and a luxurious interior, they don't come any brighter than this. It also helps that this one has been expensively refreshed and carries a practical yet stylish 6-foot bed that can still work for a living. If you're looking for a seriously nice truck, they don't come much cleaner than this. Hugger Orange (and white)... looks great on anything wearing a Chevy bowtie emblem, especially something born in the late '60s such as this. The investment in the sheetmetal is considerable given how nice the result looks, and the dedication that put this truck together shows, because the 6-year-old paint job still looks pretty darned good. A glance in all the nooks and crannies shows that it was a full cab-off job, because there are no traces of the original paint to be found anywhere. And thanks to the miracle of modern paints, it'll probably look this good for decades. Add some bright stainless trim and chrome bumpers to break up all that orange, a neatly lettered tailgate that looks traditional, and a bed protected with a spray-in bedliner, and, well, you have one heck of a truck. The flashback to the '60s continues inside with cool orange houndstooth fabric inserts in the black vinyl bench seat. Workmanship is quite good and once you're inside, you'll be impressed by the quality. Matching door panels and a set of plush black carpets add to the luxury-oriented vibe, and sharp-eyed viewers will spot details like a tilt steering column and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo system in the center of the dash. An array of factory gauges is included, and while they're a little faded, the lenses are clear (the fuel and temperature gauges, plus the ammeter need to be checked). A factory steering wheel, a reproduction dash pad, and some heavy-duty rubber floor mats make this a truck that looks great but can be used every day if that's your thing. Much of this truck's driving pleasure comes from the 350 cubic inch V8 fitted between the fenders. It has a 1969 performance look, complete with an open-element Edelbrock air cleaner, Chevy Orange paint, and a set of matching black Edelbrock valve covers to make it look racy. Horsepower is enhanced by an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and matching aluminum intake manifold, an HEI ignition system, and a set of long-tube headers finished in black to keep a low profile. It runs extremely well, smooth but torquey, and there's a lot of new equipment so it's ready to run. It's backed by a stout TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear, so you don't have to worry about breakage if you actually put it to work (this would be an awesome tow vehicle for your Camaro!). The underside is typical of a vehicle that has lived someplace warm, and has been finished with a light dusting of undercoating for a uniform look. The exhaust system has also been finished in satin black for a low-profile look, and there are fresh shocks all around. It drives superbly. A pair of glasspack-style mufflers give it a mellow exhaust note and factory-style Rally wheels are fitted with fat 265/60/15 white-letter radials for a great street stance. This is a well-built truck with great hardware and a brilliant paint job. The fact that it can also earn its keep around the house only makes it easier to get approval for the purchase. Call today!
