Description:

1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe

This is a very nice 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray t-top coupe. It has the original numbers matching 350ci 300HP engine, original numbers matching 4 speed manual transmission and believed to be original rear end date code 12/17/69. The odometer currently reads 46,489 and I can neither prove or disprove that is accurate (the previous owner believes it to be accurate). It has been very well cared for, stored inside and driven in nice weather only - further details below.

Exterior:
The exterior of this Corvette is in very nice condition overall. It was repainted years ago in it's original Bridgehampton Blue color and it looks great. The paint was clearly done professionally and has a very nice shine. There are some minor blemishes/light scratches throughout (see pictures), this isn't a 10 out of 10 car but it is extremely presentable. The L88 hood and side exhaust give this car a tastefully aggressive look. The chrome, trim and glass look great but do show some age. The rally wheels look great and give the car a nice stance with 245/60R15 BF Goodrich tires all the way around.

Interior:
The interior is overall in very nice condition and matches the trim tag in black vinyl. There are some areas that show some wear/age (see pictures). All of the gauges work as they should minus the clock. The seats look great and are very comfortable, there is nothing in the interior that needs replacing in my opinion. The stereo has been tastefully upgraded with a retro style head unit with remote and there are two upgraded speakers in the rear hatch area. The directionals, wipers, headlights and heat all work as they should.

Engine, Transmission & Misc. :
The engine is the original numbers matching 350ci 300HP option, it starts right up and runs excellent. The engine has some small upgrades with an Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, updated ignition and of course the side exhaust - you can certainly hear this coming but it isn't obnoxious. I do have what is believed to be the original carb, intake manifold, distributor and exhaust manifolds. The engine bay is clean and tidy. The original numbers matching 4 speed manual transmission shifts great with no issues and the car is a pleasure to drive with power steering. There is some normal seepage from the engine/trans/rear end but nothing abnormal for a 48 year old very original car.

Undercarraige:
The undercarriage appears to be in nice, unrestored condition - very solid (see pictures).
