If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.1953 CUSTOM CHEVROLET 3100 PATINA PICKUP Advance-Design was a truck series by Chevrolet, their first major redesign after WWII. It was billed as a larger, stronger, and sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series. First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955, when the Task Force Series trucks replaced the aging Advance-Design model.1953 - Last year for the 216 in³ inline-six. Hood side emblems now only read 3100, 3600, 3800, 4400, or 6400 in large print. Door post ID plate now blue with silver letters (previous models used black with silver letters). Last year to use wooden blocks as bed supports. New serial number codes: H ½ ton, J ¾ ton, & L 1 ton.MechanicalThe truck comes equipped with LS 5.3 and 4l60e transmission pulled from a 2002 Chevy truck, stainless headers. Standalone harness is brand new not rebuilt from bpa. The engine resealed new gaskets top to bottom. Pcm unlocked and tuned. New aluminum radiator with new hoses. Truck has power steering and power brakes disc front and drums rear. Tubular upper arms with new ball joints. Drop spindles and springs up front, stock S10 rear with 373 gears and has drop leafs. New Fabbed body mounts. Truck runs, drives, shifts and stops great with plenty of power. Can drive anywhere. Exterior The Exterior has a nice patina look and definitely a head turner. This truck has a solid Kansas body with very little rust mainly surface, original floor with tunnel fabbed and sound deadening. New lights and turn signals all work as they should. New wiring harness. All glass is nice. Wheels are Coys c-5 18x9.5 front and 20x10 rear with new tires. In the video the front grill is blue but was changed to stainless like you see in the pictures. InteriorBench seat from a 2003 suburban. Gauges fabbed into original gauge pod. Oil, temp. alt. and fuel gauges all work. New light switch with dimmer built in. Nice door panels and new black carpet.
