1985 k1500 4x4 c10 k10 Apache Silverado

1985 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500

This is a 1985 GMC Sierra classic 4x4 that was owned by a 93 year old gentleman who died a couple years back. He had no family and his best friend inherited the truck. I purchase the truck about 6 months ago and I wanted to do the bottom white and the roof white. Well the guy kept it 4 months and he just finished it. Well he did an okay job but it could have been done better. Truck is not a show truck by no means at all but is a great driver. Guy tried to I guess repaint it a few years back and did not do a very good job in my opinion. Truck needs to be buffed in my opinion and it could be a pretty dawn nice driver. Paint must be buffed to be pretty nice. My painter could have done a better job on the body prepping the body work where the white is on the truck. For the most part Truck is pretty solid for the most part but there are a couple spots that will in my opinion need minimum attention. As far as I can see most of everything works fine. I drove it about 200 miles one way when I purchased it and it drove really well. Inside the bed is immaculate and the exterior is super nice and the interior is awesome. Original Jack is under the hood. Truck has a small exhaust leak on passenger side. I would drive it anywhere in the universe and it handles very well. This is a great drive and not a show truck but truck could with a little work and be a pretty nice driver. I would just buff it out and drive it like it is. This is not a 25,000 truck, I want to emphasize greatly but it's a nice driver and if a person wanted to restore one this would be a great candidate. Truck needs a few minor things and a little attention here and there and it would make a super nice driver.
