Description:

1969 Chevrolet Nova Base

1969 L72 Big Block SS Nova built as a mechanical replica of legendary YENKO 427 Nova but has not had the stripe kit (included) installed. This is not a Tribute. A tribute uses a mish mash of parts. This car is as close to the real deal as you can get without spending 500k on one of the 7 of these cars left in existance. It has the correct code dated 1969 L72 engine built by Kevin Blanks Racing Engines and delivering 608 RWH on pump gas. The 512 code Yenko 427 block casting numbers are shown in the attached pictures as is the location of the 1" plug for the dry sump system if you were going to build this motor for the track which confirms it is a correct 427/450 HP L72 motor for this vehicle. I have 15K in receipts for motor work which does not include the cost of the motor or parts utilized. It has the original L72 Block, heads, Intake, carb and distributor. Lovingly built by a well known GM Restorer it was assembled using all correct GM components, suspension. L72 Engine, Muncie M-21 Trans (S/N showing it's a 1969 is shown), as is the code dated 1969 correct 12 bolt 3:73 posi Rear end. Everything from the is correct for this car and year. The only way your going to get the same vehicle is pay 500K and I can tell you that not one of the Nova's I have looked at for sale have the correct Yenko L72 Engine and drivetrain. They are Tributes. Not replicas. The gentleman who contracted the build also wanted a 69 big Block Nova (of which only 37 were built and delivered to Yenko Chevrolet) but with GM factory A/C which was not available on any Yenko L72 models. But when you have cash anything is possible. It sports a one off original GM style air conditioning unit with custom made brackets and pulleys. If you look closely at the engine and undercarriage pictures you can see it was built to GM specs from front to back with all the correct factory markings. A full nut and bolt ground up correct restoration was done on the car. I have the original sales invoice for the car, protecto plate, key FOB's and a bunch of other paperwork that came with the car. Included with the car are the original 14" dog dish hubcap wheels and tires if you want the Grandma's grocery getter look. She now sports new Torque Thrust Rims and tires found on the original YENKO. The interior is spotless and seats perfect. She is fast, a blast to drive and is the ultimate sleeper! Please note: She is a beautiful car but still needs a few things completed. This is not a $150,000 Chip Foose car nor is it a real 500k YENKO. Its a great, restored Replica and is as close as you can get to the real deal without taking a second mortgage. Although she only has about 1000 miles on her, she's not perfect and I don't represent her to be perfect. Yes, there are a couple of minor things I would change and a few things that need to be done such as a 5000 wet sand a a buff which never got done on the car but If you want a great clean, head turner that is mechanically perfect and for a few buck more could be the ultimate muscle car, then this is the car for you! Yes, this is the original color car and interior, No bondo ANYWHERE! Solid metal front to back. Also included with the purchase are all YENKO badging, stripe kit, Yenko Shifter handle (super rare), Yenko floormats, license plate frame, a 1969 Yenko Die cast model, 1969 Chevrolet Dealers sales kit (covers all models - original, untouched and perfect in the box) and a surprise that will make you very happy if your the winning bidder.
