1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

Well, It's finally time to let "Michelle the Chevelle" go. I have struggled with this decision for a year now, but it's time to downsize and focus on work and family. This 1971 beauty was always the conversation starter for muscle car loving girls in my college and army days haha, and now this classic ride needs to pass on her awesomeness to another owner that will continue the TLC that I gave her. I have owned my 71 since late 2009, and have put in ALOT of blood sweat and tears into fixing her up to the current condition (below are the highlights from the detailed list I have kept since day one). In addition to that list I have an overflowing folder of original receipts, parts numbers, and some manuals as shown in the picture to coincide with the items on the list. With the car comes a few extra headlight bezels, the center console shield, 4 extra pontiac rims that came on her, and a rear disc brake conversion kit still in the box. There is also a security feature that I added, and I will give that information to the new owner. Many of the little nuances and annoying things that many resto projects require are already complete, like details on interior, weather stripping, mechanical device replacements, installing period correct replacement parts, and upgrades to bring balance to the ride or operation.
Just before I left for a year, I was working on sanding down the hood & trunk. I was planning on prepping the rest of the body for a paint job but struggled to finish them in time so there is some surface rust but nothing detrimental or caused by outside weather and can easily be sanded back down to bare metal again. The whole time driving this car I used fuel system additives, was religious about oil changes and maintenance, and always tried to park in areas where there were no issues, mainly because it was my only car for those years and I had no backup. I was never in an accident or collision and definitely babied it in bad weather and would consider this in good condition to start your project where I left off. Basically, I just can't put any more time into this project and regrettably need to give it up. Last month I rebuilt the carburetor and was about to replace the fuel pump to get it running again but I just don't have it in me anymore; And, my loss is someone else's gain.
This car has a clean PA title which last had antique plates on it. I used it as my daily driver for about 4 years from 2010-2014 and even drove it across country twice for work, and sure enough it held up great. This Chevelle has been in dry storage since 2014 in NC, & PA. Currently Located in NJ as of a few days ago, and ready to coordinate shipping. I never abused or pushed the car to it's limits and always tried to treat it as a daily driver, so the body and mechanical systems weren't stressed like a beater car. I know the value should be higher but I only want $10,500 from selling it in order to pay off the rest of my school loans and one teary-eyed goodbye steak dinner. I will not drop a penny, so please do not try to offer me less, as I am not desperate to sell asap, and just want to get a fair reasonable offer and sell it to someone that can enjoy it. I have put almost $14K (which can be seen by the receipts I will be giving the buyer) into this car after purchasing it for $9K. This listing will remain up as unsold until I have received payment. When I receive payment I will simultaneously sign over the title and can mail it overnight or with the car to the new owner, and I will email a copy for both of our records along with the bill of sale.
