1963 Corvette Convertible 360hp Fuel injection - Garage find
The previous owner started a restoration more than 20 years ago and though he came close, never finished. This is a matching number fuelie S/N 30867S111281 with NCRS letter showing a production date of 3/22/1963. The Engine cast date is 3_5_63 and Assembly 3_15. The trim tag reads Style 63 867, Trim 490K, 5141 Body, 916A Paint. I have photocopies of the titles back to the first resale.
The previous owner did a frame off refinish of the chassis and body re-painted in correct lacquer Daytona Blue. He also had the engine, fuel injection system and distributor rebuilt. The engine and trans have been installed and most of the detailing done in the engine bay. The fuel injection and distributor still need to be installed. Interior seats have been redone and most of the carpet reinstalled. New door panels were bought but never installed. The electrical harnesses are new and installed except for the front and rear light harness. Many new parts come with the car.
It currently has a black top though it comes with a white top new in the box. The hardtop was not kept by the owner and does not come with the car. The tires will need to be replaced and it does not include the clock or the radio.
