Up for sale is this 1979 Chevy K-10 short box sand box dealer conversion pick up truck out of my personal collection of 90 classics or so. I bought a higher dollar car and I am selling some of my collection to help fund it.
This 1979 chevy truck looks great and drives and runs very good. It is a very neat survivor truck. I have documentation going back to the original owner (it is a 2 owner truck) who bought this truck from a new car chevy dealership in manchester iowa . Back in 1979, this truck was converted by the new car chevy dealership it was bought at into a official Sandbox conversion. The dealer conversion in 1979 gave it the stickers, high kc fog lights and bar, custom interior, controls, etc. it is a factory custom deluxe 10.
I have been using it as my daily driver for the summer and spring and fall the last few years. It shifts, drives, great and runs awesome. the radio works. it has a cb radio as well. the 4x4 is working great. fog lights work with the original sand box control. tires decent. original wheel paint. Body is survivor quality, watch the video and look at the pics as they do a good job showing it for what it is. pretty solid, minor surface type blemishes here and there etc, I had it in my showroom and I noticed a minor oil leak, frame looks good. This is a truck you can hop in and start using it. the miles are 48k and I was told and believe it is actual miles. It is a 2 owner truck.
