Shortbed, does not run, as is.VIN 3A58L118690.A copy of the paper title for the vehicle, issued in 1989, is held by seller.Attempted to run a vehicle history on the truck but had no success.

Original 4 spd manual transmission (compound low + 3 forward gears), 283 cid engine 600 cfm Holley carb.

Truck was purchased, as recalled, in 1977 in Reno, NV.At the time it was purchased, it was described as having been used as a Search and Rescue truck and, as such, had two spares and, if I recall correctly, 3 holes for a searchlight and CB antenna on the top rear of the cab.

It was utilized as my school transport while I was attending university.On completion of university, it moved to Tucson, AZ with me.At that time, I worked it over to a certain extent, putting patch panels on the rear of the cab, fixing the CB holes mentioned above in the cab, and fixing some rot on the front fenders.The truck was repainted at this time (about 1983).

The truck was driven back to central NV and stored at my parents place, in 1984.It saw occasional usage when I came back (again from school) but was stored permanently in 1989.It has not been started since.

It was transported to central Washington in the summer of 2015.

As can be seen, the bed of the truck has deteriorated over the years.During storage, someone decided to decorate the right rear wheel well with a dent from a 45 ACP slug.The bed has some cracks in the sheet metal where the right hand spare is mounted.The lower hinge pockets on the door are rotted out as can be seen in the photos.

Mileage

Unless the car is advertised as an original mileage car do not assume that the mileage/odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures. IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION. In this case, the odometer has appeared to be reset at some point.
