1972 ChevroletCheyenne K-10 4x4 Original Short Bed Truck

This truck has spent its whole life in Arkansas.

It was bought New in 1972 from Cliff Peck Chevrolet in Little Rock, Ark and 46 yrs later it has made its way 200 miles north to Harrison, Ark.

The truck comes with the following VERY RARE items:

1. Original 1972 Series 10-30 Truck Owner's and Driver's Manual
2. Original 1972 Chevrolet Emission Control Systems required maintenance and warranty information book

3. Original 1972 Chevrolet Series 10, 20, & 30 Truck New Vehicle Warranty Pamplet from the selling dealer

4. Original stamped metal Protect-O-Plate that came with every New Chevrolet back then. You had to present this Protect-O-Plate to get any type of warranty work done on the vehicle.

Now I amgoing todo my very best to accurately describe the truck. If you have any questions about the truck please message me before bidding. Thanks

DRIVE TRAIN: Appears to be the Original Drivetrainwith the usual minor oil leaks here and there which is expected for a46 yr old vehicle.Engine is 350 with HEI and Quadra-Jet 4BBL. The truck starts & runs perfectly every time without exception. This is a standard GM 350 engine that is not going to win anydrag races or burnout awards. It will however most probably drive straight across the USA tomorrow with no issues. Transmissionisan automatic 350 turbo thatshifts very smoothly without hesitation. The 4x4 system is powered by theNP205 Transfer Case which has been tested in all 3 positions and performed flawlessly. Shifts and drives into each gear with transmission in neutral as designed. The SPID sheet on the glove box is gone so I do not know what ratio the gears are butthe truckhasZERO noise at any speed from axles or rear diff. Dual Exhaust is very clean sounding with nice rumble and hum. Engine Bay is clean and presentable, nothing to write home about but still proud enough to lift the hood at cruise night. New brake pads in the front and brake shoes in the rear as well as new brake hoses and master cylinder.

PAINT:The truck andbody sidetrimwas completelyrepainted inside and out a little over 5 yrs ago. The receipt from the body shop is included.Perfect for daily driver or off road use but the Chevy Bold Yellow Coloris definitely a head turner atall thelocal car shows. The overall paint job is an8.5 outta 10. The onlyimperfection isa crack in the paint on the driversbedside right above the rear wheel (see pics).Dueto the crack I just mentioned I would not call this a"show quality paint level" truck but its a well above average "daily driver paint level" truck.

BODY/RUST: Body has no dents or significant dings in fact it's very straight. Body does havepaint crackon driver bedside. New Door & Hood Hinges were installed to ensurethe doors and hood line up nice both sides, doors and hood close exactly as they should solid and tight.Exterior body moldings & trim are complete and were repainted when the truck was painted. Roof and Roof rails are ingreat conditionwith no signs of surface rustorcracks.

TIRES & WHEELS: Wheels are 15" GM Rally front and rear that was painted black by body shop when truck was painted. Wheels also have 3" Beauty Rings and 4x4 Center Caps. Front Manual hub locks.Tiresare 31x10.50x15LT. They were bought newlast winter (receipt included) and have less than 500 miles on them.

INTERIOR: The inside cabin of the truck isinvery good condition.Old carpet was removed when the truck was painted and it was replaced with a layer of sound deadening material followed by custom fit rubber floor covering as well asNew Door Sills. The original bench seat was updated with all new foam cushioning and a new seat cover. The whole Original A/C system was removed including the climate control paneland upgradedwith a completeVintage Air System back in 2016 so the A/Cis nice and cold.Dash gauge lights and indicators all work bright and as designed. Speedometer, Fuel gauges, Water Temp & Oil Pressure gauges all work like there supposed too. Radio has been updated to an AM/FM single disc CD Playerwith2 -6x9speakers in custom designedspeaker boxesunder theseat. It sounds great and will go as loud as you want it to go.

BED: The interior Bed of this truck has been rhino lined and looks great. Tailgate functions just as designed and does not rattle or shake going down the road.

This is a hard to find solid driving running respectable short bed 4x4 1972 American Icon of a truck that will never go down in value.
