Description:

1965 Chevrolet Impala RARE 409 Super Sport

Very Rare 1965 Impala Super Sport with factory original 409 engine. Have not seen another 1965 #s matching 409 car with this many options. Very few built in the fall of '64 before being replaced by the 396. California Car with original black plates. Built in Los Angeles. Original numbers matching 409 340hp engine. Engine runs smooth. Highly optioned with Air Conditioning that blows cold, Power Windows which all work, Tilt steering column, factory bucket seats with console, radio with rear antenna and rear speaker, power steering and brakes both of which work good, bumper guards, tinted glass and padded dash. Powerglide transmission and 12 bolt 3.31 rear axle.
Car is in original condition, very clean underneath as one would expect from a CA car. Can still see the factory paint stenciling on rear frame rail. No patch panels except for left rear lower quarter, previous owner had installed a skin and there looks to be some body filler below rear window.. Right rear lower quarter has a few rust holes as pictured. Inner and outer wheel wells looks nice, along with rockers and trunk and floors all look very solid. Engine doesn't look like it has ever been out of the car. Stainless missing in photo around front seats is with the extra parts pictured. 25 photos above. Welcomed to inspect car yourself in person before buying. Email or call if interested. Listing may end early. Can help load onto trailer-it will drive right on.
