1972 Chevrolet Other Pickups C60

This is a work in progress. Driven two or three times a week. Can drive anywhere if you can afford the gas and stand the ride. I have driven as much as 5 hr. round trip. Have hauled as much as 2200 lb. with no trouble. Strong truck. Recently repaired oil leaks on air compressor lube lines. Don't know yet if that stopped all oil consumption. Does not smoke at any time. Truck started life as 16' dump for USA Army Corp of Engineers out of Vicksburg Ms. Was shortened 83". Rear of frame was extended 12" to accommodate bed. Has heavy double frame. Has cross member for goose neck ball. Two in. receiver hitch. Bed is in primer. Bed has minor rust issues, but plenty repairable. Two speed rear is locked in high side. Needs drive motor to work. It's geared so low haven't bothered to fix it. Cab has minor rust confined to where floor meets inner rockers. Corners are solid. Rest of floor is solid. Doors are solid. Front fenders have rust, hard to find this model that don't. Has New door weatherstrip, window channels, engine gaskets, sound deadening, front wheel bearings and seals, alternator, wiper switch, throw out bearing, belts, park brake air relay, wood grain dash panel, cab running lights. Brakes are great(air), tires are excellent with no weathering. Trans is NP542 5 speed from 1985 C50, with New shifter ball and spring kit. Shifts good. Front has been lowered 3". Rear lowered 4"+. Lowering was done by removing spring leaves and spacer blocks. There's been so hours into it I'm sure I'm missing something. Please ask questions.
