The quintessential sleeper. Turbocharged 5.3, 4l80e transmission, Ford 8.8 rear axle.
Gt45 eBay turbo, 80lb/hr seimens injectors, walbro 400lph in tank fuel pump, Grand National tank and sending unit. Aeromotive boost referenced fuel pressure regulator, -6an fittings and braided stainless fuel line, full return style fuel system. Circle D triple disc billet lockup converter with 3600 stall. Transgo shift programmer installed in transmission. Large aftermarket trans cooler. Custom driveshaft. 8.8 rear axle is from a 95 Mustang GT. 2.73 ratio with factory limited slip/posi, disc brakes, works well. Has spherical upper control arm bushings, double adjustable upper control arms, and control arm relocation brackets. Single Adjustable lower control arms. Engine and transmission are controlled by a factory ECM. Engine is a 2002 block with 2005 rotating assembly so it has the upgraded factory rods. Has stock cam from a 2006 lq4 6.0. Rings are gapped for boost. PAC racing 1218 valve springs. Car runs 245/45r17 tires on all four corners. Has adapters on front to accept Ford lug pattern. 4" exhaust from turbo to a 3" Magnaflow muffler.
Was built as a fast cruiser, not setup for drag racing but wouldn't take much to do so. Has much larger springs all around with Bilstein shocks rides well and has much less of the boat feeling these G body cars had stock. Power windows and locks, tilt steering. Uses an obd2 port to power a small gauge package that has many different display options.
Car has a couple small rust spots on the rear lower fender, otherwise is rust free.
Looks like a granny car but flat schools Vettes, Vipers, Mustangs, Camaros, etc on the road. Even still has a column shifter to maintain the illusion. Incredibly fast car that is alot of fun.
made 462hp, 546tq at the tire, 614hp at the crank. 91 octane pump gas, conservative tune on a Mustang dyno.
