1970 Chevrolet Nova
10 Bolt Rear End
Power Front Disc Brakes
This car was has been in central CA it's whole life, sold new in Madera which is just north of Fresno.
The body looks to be rust free from top to bottom, the custom paint is fairly fresh and is smooth as glass. There are a couple of chips from normal use but near perfect. The body is pretty straight, I can see no signs of any collision damage or panel replacement that I could find. The chrome and stainless are all presentable but some may be replaced if you're a perfectionist. It could use new tail light bezels, a rear bumper because they are original and have a couple minor imperfections. The glass is all in great shape. The wheels are American Racing and the tires are almost new, maybe 50 miles on them.
The interior is nice, it's been redone similar to new with new carpet and all. The sill plates are missing, he never got around to replacing them. The steering wheel is cracked and will need to replaced with an original or a nice aftermarket. It has the original gauges, there are small gauges mounted under the dash for temp, oil pressure and charging system as well. The dash has been recovered, it looks like a factory. The door panels are nice as is the headliner and visors. Dash was painted the same color as the carso it doesn't have any remnants of the original dark green.
The engine and transmission run out nice, engine was rebuilt less than1K miles ago with receipts andruns good. The transmission goes right into gear shifts solid, it was serviced with new fluid and filter recently. The car has a single exhaust, much is original with the exception of a new muffler and tail pipe. It has new suspension up front, new leaf springs/shackles in the rear, shocks all around. It has a brand new disc brake conversion that includes a new master cylinder, booster, drilled/slotted rotors and new rear brakes.
The car is ready to drive and show, great way to start off the season. A nice mild rest-mod you can take to the next level or enjoy as is, clean examples are getting hard to find. I think I covered everything but let me know if you have any questions.
There is no Buy-It-Now, you can make an offer if you want to skip the auction process and I'll present it to the owner. I welcome inspections, the car is located in Selma, CA, just south of my shop in Fresno, CA and can be viewed by appointment. The owner of the car has no interest in trades, he has another project with his son so he is happy with that right now. The winning bidder will receive a Clean California title, clear of any liens with the car. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course it can be picked up in person and driven home after we have received funds.
Terms and Conditions Of The Auction
The winning bidder agrees to provide a $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours, too many auctions have ended with non paying bidders unfortunately. The balance is due within 7 days but if you need a little more time to arrange something you can call me. The balance is to be paid through a bank transfer to eliminate any delays for shipping. Please don't bid if your funds are not readily available, if you are applying for a loan please give the bank ample time for an inspection.
