Description:

1971 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1

Numbers matching 1971 LT1 coupe. One of 1,949

Original Code 972 Classic White with Original Code 407 Red Vinyl Interior. Matching Numbers Solid Lifter 350/330hp LT-1 Engine, 4 Speed M21 Manual Transmission and 3.70 Posi Rear. The car retains its original Air Injection Reactor Emissions Control System including smog pump, smog lines and exhaust manifolds. Other Features include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Original AM/FM Radio, Alarm System, Seat Belts with Shoulder Belts. The car was repainted and has about 2000 miles since being repainted. The chrome bumpers were done around the same time and are in excellent condition. The interior was completely redone shortly thereafter and looks basically brand new with a couple nice upgrades including leather seats and deluxe trim wood panel accents to the door panels. The original AM/FM radio also works as do all interior lights including, Fiber Optics, etc. The headlights go up and down smoothly, wiper door opens and closes as it should. The frame, windshield pillars, radiator support are in excellent shape and without rust issues which can be a common problem with older C3 corvettes. I purchased this car from a previous owner in AZ, and believe it has spent most of its days in warm climate with salt free roads.

The car runs and drives great and I don't believe the engine has ever been out of the car. I have a large binder full of documents for work done to the car over the past decades including the repaint, chrome plating, interior etc as mentioned earlier. In addition to the picture in the listing (which ebay limits to 24), please see the links below for additional pictures and a walk-around video of the car.
