Description:

1968 Chevrolet C-10

Here is an absolutely incredible 1969 Chevrolet C10 pickup for sale. It is titled in my name as a 1969, but I changed to a 1968 front clip. I built this truck over a 7 year period using only the best NOS, new or rust free parts from all over the US. I incorporated some of my favorite features from different years to build my dream truck.

This is a fresh frame-off restomod with approximately 150-200 miles since completion. It is NOT an original 50th Anniversary CST truck and I am not representing it to be. It has the 50th Anniversary 'feel' but I just wanted something a little different. The base coat/clear paint is a beautiful BMW color called "Ontario Gold". It is very rich and classy coupled with the Corvette "Speedway White" a warm vanilla color. The dark saddle interior adds a unique twist to the 50th interior but still compliments the gold and white very well.

The truck is a blend of old school horsepower combined with modern technology. Features like Vintage Air Conditioning, Ididit Tilt Wheel, Lokar Shifter and Porterbuilt chassis components make the truck enjoyable and also handle as good as it looks. The 4 wheel discs really give the truck a solid modern feel. I can tell you anything you want to know about this truck. I built it from a bare cab and frame, (pic provided, thats where it started) and it's not my first build. I built this truck to keep, but life takes you in different directions sometimes.

SHEET METAL:

Originally a 1969 C10 Short bed step side. 6cyl 3 on the tree. (The VIN number tells us. The first two letters. CE = original v8 truck. CS = original 6cyl. I just remember E for Eight, and S for 6.)

It has had some rust repair in the normal places. 95% of them out there do. It's 50 years old.

Tailgate - NOS GM

Bedsides - AMD, very high quality reproductions. I have built several of these trucks and theyre as thick and heavy gauge as GM panels. The bed went together nicely too.

Front header panel - AMD

Bed Cross Sills - Original GM

Doors - AMD and fit very nicely.

Front clip - Original GM west coast metal, including the core support. One of the nicest I've ever seen. The Hood is an original CST hood with trim. No rust, ever. Both front fenders came out of the Nevada desert. The grille from Wyoming. I looked a long time and paid top dollar for the clip. The doors were on the truck when I got it, but they really do fit nicely.
