1937 Chevrolet Other

My friend's father bought this 37 back in the late 70's with plans to hot rod it. Over the years they put in different engines, trans' and rear ends. They cut the firewall, but they never cut the frame or changed suspension. Sometime in the mid-90's the car was passed to my friend. He stored it and parts came off but never got put back on. Then about 10 years ago it was put outside. I acquired it this past spring. This car is a shell, there is no engine, trans, or rear end. As you can see, there is a lot of surface rust, but the body is straight and undamaged. All of the exterior body parts are here and are in "restorable" condition. The only parts that are not original are the Running Boards. These are extra wide that I believe came from "Chevys Of The 40's". The fenders have some minor crumpling that can be worked out. The doors have the original window operators. This car comes with a lot of extra parts. There are 3 old heater cores, 2 steering columns (one is new and unused), a set of Sanderson "shorty" headers for an LS3, still in the box. Plus a box full of parts such as door handles, window cranks, and other stuff I can't identify. It all goes together. Make no mistake, this car will need a lot of work, but 37's are hard to come by and I believe that in parts alone it is worth the reserve I have set. If you want to see more photos, contact me at 707-263-0200 and I will send them to you. I expect full payment within 7 days of the auctions end. If you are paying by check or money order, it must be sent in advance so that it has time to clear. I will not release the car until full payment has been securely received. After that I can hold the car for up to two months while the buyer arranges transport.
