We are offering for sale a 1973 Corvette Stingray. This car has 79K actual miles and the title is clean. 1973 was the last year with the chrome rear bumper. In '74 they were plastic in the front and rear. This year car really looks good and its considered the last year that collectors are looking for. This car has no pollution, true dual exhaust and real horsepower. It was not slowed down in any way shape or form by the factory. It has see-through T-tops, which was an option put on when the car was a little bit older and they're in good condition.
The body of car, in my opinion, couldn't look any nicer than it does. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The underneath of the vehicle still has the original rustproofing and its not rusted, as can be seen in the many pictures I took of the undercarriage. I bought this car from a new car dealer last September, and I parked it in the spot you can see in the pictures in the back, where its still sitting now. It was traded in for a 2017 Corvette. The previous owner babied this car in every way shape and form. That's why it looks as nice as it does.
The tires, brakes, and exhaust are all good. The headlights in the front work correctly, as seen in the pictures. The car starts easily and drives nicely. With the stick shift, you get a great feeling of the road. The air conditioner does not work because somebody took the compressor off, so it will need a compressor and lines to update it to a working system. car has tilt and telescopic wheel, The odometer and speedometer work correctly. The tachometer does not work, and I didn't even try to fix it. 90% of the time, the cables just break. It's not expensive to buy a new cable if you decide to replace it.
The car sat in the same place for 9 months. We see no leaks underneath the vehicle. It started up on its own without starting fluid after sitting all winter. If you can make it out to drive it, then you'll see and feel what a tight, nice sounding, great running Corvette this is. The spare tire and spare tire cover comes with the car but we have them off so when I took pictures of the underside of the vehicle there was nothing hiding your visibility of seeing the whole floor and frame underneath the car. I had the vin checked and it is matching numbers with the engine. I think this electric blue color is absolutely fabulous. The chrome that is on the back is perfect. If I had to build a 1973 Corvette from scratch, I would pick no different color combination than this. If you're the lucky winner, all you need to do is drive it home, where it will be ready to be driven anytime you would like to take it for a cruise. Please view the 150+ pictures in the Flickr below. Since this is a true classic car, feel free to call me with any question at 216-598-7011 and I'll do my best to answer them.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
