1975 Chevrolet Other Pickups Base

1975 Chevrolet LUV pickup
For those who do not already know, in the early 70s there was a gas crunch and GM and Ford got caught without a small pickup entry to compete with Datsun (now Nissan) and Toyota so they rebadged the Isuzu Faster as the Chevy LUV and the Ford Courier.
Not many surviving or restored examples. The LUV is a popular starting point for drag and rat rod rebuilds. This is not one of those.
These is rust on this truck, with some daylight coming in through the passenger side floorboard, which has some bondo in it as a band-aid, and the driver's side floorboard has been patched with metal. There are a couple other areas in the front fender wells that have pinhole rust through. Otherwise, see pictures for where the surface rust and "patina" is please.
I pulled out the interior and resprayed the bottom metal and threw in some ne carpet that is "sort of" custom fit. It is not snug on the transmission tunnel but looks pretty good. I didn't want to glue it down in case it goes in for a restoration later that's one more thing to scrape out. The dash cover is new and looks very nice, there is only one other mark on the dash under the glove box, you have to look carefully to see it.
The analog/cassette old school (but brand new) radio with under dash speaker works, as does everything else except the instrument lights (trying to run that down) and the turn signals blink very slowly.
Be happy to field any questions via Ebay. Thanks for looking.
