1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups Custom Street Rod

You are looking at the coolest 1959 Chevrolet Apache Pickup you will ever come across! This custom built show truck turns heads and gets looks wherever it goes! Starting from the ground up by Hot Rod Shop, Dadz Motor Company in Ohio, the vision became a reality! This 1959 Chevy received a fully boxed frame and tubular crossmembers to mount the Mustang II front suspension complete with power steering. Carrera adjustable coil over shocks are front and rear, with the...rear suspension sporting a triangulated four-link with a Ford 8.8 inch rear end with 3.73 gears and limited slip. The brakes are 11” discs front and 10” discs rear with power assist. An all-aluminum Corvette LS1 provides motivation through a 4L60E automatic transmission with a Gennie shifter. Custom-made stainless headers with Thrush mufflers give just the right sound to exiting exhaust gasses. Air conditioning keeps you feeling as cool as you look going down the road! The body was professionally stripped and repaired as necessary before the custom touches began. The emblems were shaved and the cowl vents and wipers were eliminated. The hood received 7 rows of louvers with the rear roll pan receiving 12. The fully prepped body received its beautiful Jet Black finish from Leadfoot Speed Shop in Ohio along with the hand striped logo on the tailgate. An oak floor with stainless runners complete the bed floor and that theme is carried into the cab for a beautiful look. The use of Dynamat throughout the interior keeps things quiet inside. The rest of the interior is finished in red and black leather and cloth in keeping with the theme of the truck. A restored speedometer (which does work), a custom-made quartz clock on the passenger side, and a Vintage Corvette steering wheel on a tilt column round out the look. The truck rolls on American Racing wheels with B.F. Goodrich rubber. This truck was featured in the May 2016 Classic Trucks Magazine. The buyer will receive a copy of the magazine along with a 200+ photo album documenting the build.
