Up for bid/sale is my all original Convertible 1964 chevy corvair. I purchased this vehicle over a year ago from an elderly couple. Motor was not running, as well as a bad transmission. It now has new transmission repair with warranty. New starter, new overhaul engine, new spark plugs, new oil, new brake calipers, new brakes...In very good running condition. Its a beautiful eye candy weekend recreational car. I had transmission repaired done ($1200) at Auto Care transmission in National City with receipt and warranty papers in hand. The overhaul engine work, was done by a very good mechanic recommended by a family member. Bought all parts ($1800 in parts, labor not included) from California Corvair Parts in Chino Hills, Ca. and had the mechanic do the overhaul engine repair. It has 66,490 miles, 6cyl, power glide auto trans, nice clean car, great body, 8/10 paint, very nice redone interior. Tags are current 2018, no smog ever needed since its a 64. Car can use newer sun visors, chrome/polish rear bumber, radio not connected, front right signal light bulb just went ou, easy fixes...but overall, car is definitely atleast an 8 + out of 10. Car is absolutely beautiful, definitely an eye candy of a car. Buyer is responsible for auto transport shipment arrangement / local pick up of vehicle. Car located in San Diego, Ca.
