Nice daily driver quality truck.
V8 (305 or 350) Originally a 305 truck, may have been replaced with a 350 at some point. Runs and drives good, some new parts in the front suspension along with new front brake calipers and rear wheel cylinders. Newer Holley 600 carburetor with electric choke. Truck has cruise control but it is not hooked up to the new carb. Everything is still on the truck for it. It was a friend's daily driven truck for the past 2 years or so. Has a nice sounding dual exhaust system. Not loud but has a nice rumble.
Heat works great, factory A/C system is complete but blows hot. Probably needs new seal ($5 from parts store) and freon.
Interior is nice but not perfect. It has new black carpet, seat cover, headliner and dash cover. It is not show quality but is on the nicer side for an old square body.
Wheels are 15" Pacer Aluminum and the tires are almost new.
I also have an extra front and rear bumper that can go with the truck.
The body has had 1 repaint at some point in its life. The paint buffs out to a nice shine. It is a single stage paint, not base/clear. Truck was originally black/gray two-tone. The truck has the normal rust on the inner fender under the battery tray. The cab corners are starting to rust as well but aren't completely gone. Some rust bubbling behind the rear wheel openings. In the picture of the left side the paint is scratched and black, NOT rust holes. Bed floor is rust free. Cab floors are also really nice. Definitely not a rust bucket.
Vinyl bed cover also installed.
I really hate to sell the truck because I love a squarebody and wanted to lower it with some bigger wheels and have that "shop truck" look. But, with a family its just not a practical daily driver for me. The ONLY trade I would be interested in would be a 02-06 Chevy crew cab 2WD. The only reason this truck is up for auction is to put money towards a crew.
