1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS

1967 Camaro SS Tribute - First Generation

Car built to be driven. Can be your daily driver to the grocery store or your Sunday afternoon cruiser. This tribute car is powered by a 383 cubic inch Stroker motor built by Prestige High Performance Engines. With 430 horse power @ 5500 rpm to the wheels and 450 lb-ft of torque at 3500rpm this car is always fun to drive. The motor only has 4,000 miles to date with the car only having 28,101 original miles and a compression ratio of 9.7:1.The motor had a dyno performed by Dyno 2000.This car also has a Tremec TKO 5 speed transmission, which is known to be a bulletproof transmission. This Camaro has always been reliable and between the drive train and power this can be anyone's favorite weekend hotrod. The car also has an Air Ride Technologies Ride Pro e2 suspension system that allows the driver to customize the way the car handles and feels.During the peak of Texas heat the car stays cool with its Ron Davis Racing Products dual fan radiator.Attached are videos of car driving during a 90 degree afternoon.Notice the temperature never goes above 195 degrees. This was important for me to show. The single largest problem with these classics is overheating troubles. No one wants to deal with that hassle. An a/c system could be added to this car because the Ron Davis Racing Products radiator was added with the intention of one being installed.Other parts worthy of mentioning include: Holley carburetor, black Edelbrock valve covers, MSD ignition, a UniSteer Performance power rack and pinion power steering system, Inland empire drive shaft, Classic Motorsports hydraulic master cylinder and adjustable clutch pedal, Speed Tech Headers, and Perfect Performance Products wiring harness. All documentations, receipts, warranties, etc. are well documented in a binder provided by previous owner and updated to current date.

First generation Camaro's were the only ones that had the infamous vent windows. In my opinion, these are a must for both the look and interior comfort.Windshield wipers work, but notice in the video when driving over bumps they turn on.The switch needs to be replaced. The cigarette lighter, rear windows, and horn are currently not working. The rear windows work just need to be adjusted. They are sticky. The horn works and button on steering wheel needs to be replaced.Have not looked into the cigarette lighter.Door mirrors are Clear Shot square mirrors, door sill plates are new, all rubber weather trimming and felts on windows and doors have been replaced within a year.Has a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo mounted in glove box with Boston Acoustics speakers in both front and back seats.

The blacked-out grill and led halo head lights add a bit of aggression to the cars already aggressive stance.Cowl induction hood along with proper badging make this Camaro unmistakable on the road. The Chrome and bright trim are in fantastic condition.Between its two-tone silver on grey paint job and its Salt Flat Special American Racing rims grey with a chrome lip, this Camaro truly is a head turner.I'd call the paint a solid 2 foot car. This car has a salvaged title.Owner who built out car bought it as a junker and built it as a hotrod.Has never been in an accident. Please contact for vin #.

YouTube video link below shows: the suspension lifting prior to cold start,a cold start (been 2 weeks since motor turned over), cold idle, and cold rev up.Also, a drive video taken immediately after cold start video.A final video showing the radiator temperature and warm idle/rev that was taken after the first videos.Drove the car for approximately 20 minutes prior to final video. Also, I have more photos that can be sent via email. This car has been a great car.Only reason I am selling it is because I am getting married and she refuses to get in it.Please contact me for videos via email.
