1965 Chevrolet Corvair

Corvair convertible w/automatic trans for restoration. Basically a rolling chassis. See pix: body generally good with minimal surface rust on lower panels and only a couple small spots of perforation. Doors, door glass, hood, and trunk are good. Broken windshield removed and pix show rusted lower windshield track that will need replacement. Engine last ran 4 years ago so it is complete and not locked up. Of course will need complete overhaul for a quality restoration. No top. The top frame is functional but I will provide another, better frame with the sale. I have original seats; front seats OK with recovering. Rear seats pretty well trashed. Some restorers replace the rear seat with a Corsa type rear carpeted deck. I saved the door and rear panels so an upholsterer can use them to pattern new ones. Floor board has been replaced. Top boot well is solid and coated.Includes factory Chassis Manual to help with restoration and part identification.
