Description:

1978 Chevrolet C-10

You are bidding on an awesome C10 Silverado with a perfect stance on 20" wheels with a pro touring flair, and drives as such! With 40 years of patina, that is a blast to drive, you don't need to cringe or worry about road grime, driving down a dirt road, or parking way out in the back 40 of a parking lot to avoid a door ding. Driving through the neighborhood or at speed on the highway it is just plain fun. This is not a show piece, it is a great daily driver that you can just drive, clean it up for the local cruise, or dare I suggest you can even use it as a truck!
Suspension: A smooth, comfortable drive even though it is lowered. Built in C-Notch with drop shocks / struts
Interior: Everything is in working order. New front windshield, side and rear glass tinted.
Exterior: All metal and trim seems to be original This truck has wonderfully original patina from 40 years of use. Call it character, patina, whatever... It has dings, dents, scratches from years of use. Personally I love shutting the doors, hood and tailgate with a solid thud of heavy metal! It was built to last and has done so.
Mechanicals: The only thing I have done to the truck is replace the battery. It starts everytime, stops without issue, everything works as it should, it has heat and I have no concern taking it for a long, long drive. It is a 3 on the tree manual trans, and they can be tricky as shift patterns are tight, but it is a ton of fun to drive.
Additional Items Included: Vintage Air Works 1973-80 Chevrolet GMC Truck Gen IV Sure Fit Complete Kit (non-factory air) part #941175, this lists for $1,480 on their website
It has plenty of get up and go, but that 3 on the tree is not going win you a drag race! HOWEVER, You wanna smoke the tires, it will do smoky burnouts and shred the rubber right off the rims if you want to.
Now for the reason I am selling as everyone will ask. I would love to keep this, but strangely enough both my wife's and my daily driver was hit and totaled 3 weeks ago as they were parked in front of the house. Therefore, the toy must go as the insurance pay out is far less than what it actually costs to replace a vehicle and what is really needed are 2 daily drivers not the toy.
I am not a mechanic or body guy and have done my best to describe the truck. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me and ask. If you have picture requests, I will gladly accommodate those also. If you leave your phone number I will gladly call you as soon as possible.Vehicle is old as is, where is. Without warranty expressed, written or implied.
