Description:

1972 Chevrolet C-10

First of all, what it's NOT!! An ORIGINAL SWB Cheyenne Super with Bucket Seat/Console interior. It was also not Red/White. It came from the factory a Cheyenne 350/automatic with factory air. It was built to look this way. It's a clone.. That's why it's not $50K..The pictures tell the story. What you see is what you get... A very nice, excellent driver, that looks like a $50K truck and gets loads of attention where ever it goes.
I have no paperwork on the build as it was done at least two previous owners before I bought it. Here's what I know and what I've been told:Engine: I was told it was a 383.. blah, blah, blah ... with no paperwork it's just a SBC. What I know is, it runs well and has plenty of power. It's also pretty :-) Has HEI, Hedman Headers (sounds awesome), cam is "lumpy" but not radial.Transmission: TH350 with a shift kit. The shifts are positive and crisp. Only issue is that it appears the kick down switch was removed. Been told that's done on occasion when a kit is install.. You need to manually shift to 2nd if you want a passing gear.. haven't found it to be a issue.
Odometer reads 22,500. Obviously not the original mileage but also doubt it's 122,500.. maybe??
American Racing Wheels (Turbo Thrust I think) 15" with near new tires (BFG 225/70/15) kinda old school.
The factory air was replaced with Vintage Air unit. Cleans up the engine compartment, blows cold as ice and uses the original controls and outlets. Pioneer stereo with Bluetoothwill blow you out of the cab.. :-)
Body is in overall nice condition and the paint looks very good, shines up nice!!
