Price: US $65,000.00 Item location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States
Description:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

The high three bidders on the last auction flaked out so again available is this bad ass street car. I built it and sorted it out. It is the real deal. I have changed it to a fixed price ad. Don't want the games. Buy it now or send in your best offer and I will consider. Don't waste my time trying to steal it, the price is already a steal. Go price the parts alone then think about getting a 69 Camaro into shape for the components. Enough said, good luck.
A brief overview...
ENGINE: Dart big block 632, pro logic 10/71 blower, twin 950 boost reference carbs, Dart heads, Jesel rockers, 800 lift cam, steel rods. This motor is angry even though only running around 4lbs of boost to be pump gas friendly.
TRANSMISSION: Jeffco 4 speed. This trans is like a Lenco but better for the street. Able to handle in excess of 2000 HP yet handle everyday driving. You can go 10,000 miles before needing a service. They are bullet proof and if you like pulling levers like I do, you will really enjoy this trans.
Mcloed clutch and hydraulics.
REAR DIFF: Fully built 12 bolt posi with all the best parts money can buy. I wanted to have an all GM car which is why I stuck with the 12 bolt. It is stout.
FRONT SUSP: Stock front frame, tubular a arms, Viking double adjustable coil overs, sway bar. This set up works really well on the street. Much better than a mustang II or strut set up.
REAR SUSP: Round tube back half, Viking double adjustable coil overs, HD 4 link wishbone set up. Again all stout components to handle the power and street.
BODY: All steal with hinged hood and trunk. Car was built as a true street car. Has roll up windows and a stock dash. All lights and body parts functions properly. Body was thoroughly massaged, straight and clean. Paint is Mercedes Iridium silver with a satin clear.
INTERIOR: Stock dash with roomy cage. Most pro street or x race cars have a tight cage inside. I am 6' 230 and I fit comfortably with lots of head room for a helmet and legs/arms outstretched. Has headliner and interior. All new and clean.
WHEELS/TIRES: Steel custom rally wheels with drag radials.
EXHAUST: 2 1/4" primary tube headers down to a custom 4" exhaust. Sounds wild.
COOLING: Of course with big power comes big cooling. Ron Davis has it covered. Car runs nice and cool, especially out here in the desert.
ELECTRICAL/IGNITION: Custom wiring combined with stock wiring all sorted out and safe. Line loc and clutch solenoid wired into steering wheel switches for launch control.
This is not just some backyard build that is all show and no go. This car is brutal and if you want the baddest all steel 69 Camaro that has the power to back up the look, here it is.
This is a big boy toy. I will consider selling as a roller or trade for a tube chassis 55 Chevy.
I am not a dealer. I have a large car collection, a really nasty hobby some would say. Anyway, Sale is not subject to tax. Title is clear and ready to go.

I failed to mention auction also includes wheelie bars and chute with mount. Simply pull the license plate which hides the kill switch, remove bowtie emblem and install the chute to be legal.

Thank you to all who have sent very nice comments and praise on the car. It will be very sad to see go but it is time for something else. Good luck everyone.
