Art Morrison Engineering chassis, upgraded independent front suspension with power rack-and-pinion steering, triangulated 4-link rear suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers working on powder-coated-cross-drilled and vented rotors and BF Goodrich G-Force 225R50/17 tires on chromed 17-inch Boyd Coddington alloy wheels. Professionally tuned and installed, GM Performance's ZZ 383 crate engine, 425 HP at 5,400 RPM and 460 ld-ft of torque at 4,500 RPM smooth linear delivery. GM Performance's aluminum intake manifold and highly effecient Fast Burn aluminum cylinder heads and HEI ignition. Engine ancillaries include braided hoses and polished accessories, an aluminum radiator with electric fan and a quick-disconnect battery switch; a Tremec 5-speed manual transmissio, Hydromax hydraulic clutch, stock-look shifter, and a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50:1 gears complete the drivetrain. Its slick black paint, color-matching auxiliary hard top and sharp red leather interior are a favorite combination among the corvette faithful, with tasteful enhancements including air conditioning, upgraded tach and radio and a Grant leather -wrapped steering wheel. With 4,800 miles since the completion of this build, this is a great car for show that handles like a new one.
