Description:

1971 Chevrolet Nova

1971 ChevroletChevy Nova
Last one of my projects going up for sale. Don't have the time or the space to hold onto this one. Picked this nova up in 2012 with the intentions of going bracket racing with the car. Moved the car along slowly over the years but I have since decided to throw my efforts behind my A body Cutlass that I am already running. In that regard, this one has to go.
What you see is what you get on this one. I have everything to put the front clip back together (see pictures). Realizing that car needs a good amount of work....I'm listing it as a NO RESERVE auction starting at $100.00. This car will sell on to someone...the highest bid...gets the car.
Here's the skinny:
Pros
  • Cleaned subframe, welded repairs to the body mount holes, and installed solid sub frame connectors.
  • Installed Competition Engineering weld-in subframe connectors and tied it to he front subframe and Competition Engineering rear frame rails (See pics). The rear rails will need to be finished welded.
  • Floor pan metal is solid.
  • Autometer Gauges installed.
  • With Shortened rear end will fit a 30.0" x 10.5" drag slick with no problem. I was going Ford 9", but you can shorten the OG 10 bolt if you so choose (it's posi).
  • Originally a Texas car.
  • Clean Virginia title in my name.
Cons
  • Bodywork if you want something nice. The pictures tell a better story then I can so look ALL of them over. There will need to be some cutting and welding. There are generous coats of filler in the normal areas (wheel wells, quarters, pillars).
  • No interior. Only thing in cockpit is Shifter and Console (and misc parts).
  • Finish welding for the rear frame rails, rear suspension, and tin work for the trunk, wheel tubs, and rear cabin.

Exterior
Terms & Conditions
  • This car was on its way to being a race car...IT'S NEVER GOING BACK TO A STOCK'ER. Be realistic with your mechanical and fabrication abilities. YouWILLneed to know what your doing or have a shop experienced in chassis work and race cars assist you in completing the car if you dont have fabrication or welding abilities.
  • I have provided PLENTY OF LARGE PICTURES for you to looks the car over. With that said, please, PLEASE, PLEASE...NO DEADBEATS BIDDERS!!!!
  • Buyer is responsible for all cost associated with transport or shipping the car to there location. I can assist buyer (within reason) with loading and what not onto a trailer. The car MUST BE PICKED UP no later then April 15th as I do not want to pay another month of storage for the car.
  • A $200 paypal deposit is due within 48 hours of listings end. This deposit is non negotiable and non-refundable. The remaining balance is due in cash on pickup.
  • Car is being sold AS-IS.

Good luck yall,
Average Joe
