1967 Chevy Nova. 66560 original miles, NOT rolled over miles. Car was painted 20 years ago to a Chrysler Peacock Red, original color was Ermine White. It was manufactured at the Willow Run, Michigan plant the 2nd week of March, as a 2 door sport coupe V8 with black pattern imitation leather and tinted windshield, all of this is from the cowl tag. Original sheet metal except for the lower rear quarters, that where repaired 20 years ago at the time of the repaint. Vinyl top was replaced 20 years ago. Hood is also not original to car, it was damaged by previous owner. I do have a steel cowl induction hood that will be sold with car. No rust or pitting of metal under or around battery tray. Glass is original except for windshield. Windows crank up and down very smoothly and vent windows are in perfect working order. Stainless steel trim around windows is original to car and is in near mint condition. Original clock that still works. Steering wheel has no cracks and the horn ring and button have no pitting and chrome looks to be in mint condition. Floor and trunk metal is original to car with no rust ever. Doors and front fenders are original and have had no rust ever. Original vinyl top car,"1 of 4370 built". Car is originally from Oklahoma where it spent most of its life until I purchased it. Solid as the day it rolled off the factory floor. Show quality epoxy painted under floor, under body, and in engine compartment. No undercoating under this car. All dash controls where restored back to factory condition. Heater box was restored back to original condition with epoxy paint and all new rubbers, as were the vent doors in kick panels. All interior fasteners where restored back to original condition that may of included yellow zinc or clear zinc coating. Door handles are original to car but were re-chromed years ago, just to make them look nicer. Newer head liner & sun visors, installed around 10 years ago. I don't know if the dash pad was ever replaced, only because I didn't do it since I've owned the car for that past 15 years, but it is in mint condition. DynaMat was installed under carpet about 2 years ago to just help with road noise. Heavy duty copper core radiator with a Flex-a-lite 3300 cfm shrouded electric cooling fan. Stroked to 350 cubic inches, still using the small journal block. It is an original 327 car that had a column shift 3 speed manual transmission. Steering column was reworked to a smooth finish. Pedals were replace with factory auto trans pedals. Ceramic coated 1 5/8 inch Hooker headers with Pypes brand X pipe and stainless steel 3 inch exhaust. Fast fuel injection system sitting on top of an Edelbrock RPM performer air gap intake. Engine was also upgraded to a Comp Cams 270 magnum cam with matching valve springs and Crane full roller rocker arms mounted to screw in studs. Complete MSD ignition, 6A box, billet distributor with vacuum advance, and 8mm wires. Tanks brand fuel tank, with high output in tank fuel pump and return style fuel system. CK Performance GM2004R Overdrive automatic trans built with billet input and output shafts, clutch drum, heat treated sun gear shell, stator tube, and lock-up performance torque convertor. Extra heat sink style trans cooler along with cooler in radiator. Hurst Quarter stick floor shifter. Original 10 bolt positraction rear diff with aftermarket 3.73 gears and high performance aftermarket axles. Rear diff cover is billet aluminum with carrier support bolts. Wilwood front and rear disc brakes. CPP aftermarket front suspension with tubular upper & lower A arms, 2 inch drop spindles and VariShock brand adjustable coil overs. Ride Tech brand heim joint style 4 bar rear suspension, with adjustable coil overs. This car drives, stops, and handles like a new sports car. Pro Car brand bucket seats with matched rear seat. Vision brand wheels with Yocohama tires. 205/50R17 front 245/45R18 rear and matching spare tire and rim that can be used on front or rear if necessary as well as a date matching jack. All wheel studs have been upgraded to 1/2 inch. Car has been stored in a heated and air conditioned room for the last 15 years that I've owned it. I have a 3 inch thick binder of everything that the car has on it right down to the labels off of the paint cans!! I've driven the car on "3" Hot Rod Power Tours. Car was on the Discovery Channel TV show when it was at the Chicago Power Tour Auto Show in 2004. Car ran 8.20's in the 1/8 mile with the factory original 3.08 gears around 10 years ago. Reason I'm selling car is to purchase a local drag car like the one I had back in the 80's. I've had my fun with this car and enjoyed driving it on all the tours and taking it to all the car shows, but it's time for me to get back in the seat of a full out drag car before I'm too old.
