Description:

1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Okay guys, This is a REAL DEAL 1972 Z28 Camaro. The car was sequoia Green with Tan Interior. AS you can see by the Vin it has the L and also the trim tag verifies all the data as well. The car will need a total restoration. Floors, trunk, frame rails, rockers, quarters, all need major work. It has the original 373 posi rear end still intact and very strong. The rest sway bar mounts are welded to the frame just as they should be the color as shown is correct as well. This car is the REAL DEAL. hidden firewall vin also matches dash vin and neither have been tampered with. Car does not come with a motor or transmission they will be removed as they are not original. Care is believed to have been an automatic car but had a 4 speed in it when I received it. but I am keeping the tranny and 4 speed parts as they are not original to the car. They are going in my 73rs im building now. Front radiator support is good doors are gonna need work as is fenders etc. I also will be replacing the small front bumpers with an original 72 z28 full bumper as this was not a RS car. I have a complete interior for the car minus a headliner, all trim, and will include some fenders and a hood as well. Basically a complete car minus motor and tranny. 72 350s date coded motors and trannies are still out there and if you could find a CE date coded block you could bring this baby back to numbers matching and have a very very expensive car when done. Only 2575 of these were made due to a strike at gm. You can verify all the data at the following link.http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro72.html
The asking price is not firm but I know the rarity of this car and that its as original and unmolested as you will find. No swapped vins or trim tags on this car it all matches and the original color is found in many places on the car as well. Get it while you can. Car also has vintage air system installed and does not have a 8K tach. But I can include a gauge cluster with it as well with a 7k tach.
I'll give you basically everything I can to get you a great start on the restoration. GOOD Kentucky Title also comes with the car. People pay big money for trim tags and vins alone let alone a whole car with clean TITLE. IF you restore true rare muscle cars this second gen camaro is one of them for you. easily a 50K plus car done right and you can have this one for 10% of that. Money to be made on this one in the right hands.
Good Luck.
Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up. I can help load on a trailer as I have a forklift. Car is inside and can be stored for up to 15 days with full payment, after 15 days there will be a 15.00 a day charge for storage.
