EZCAREXPORT INC is proud to offer you a REAL Chevelle SS code 138.This 1968 Chevelle SS 396 is a rare SS that have been built and sold in Canada in the assembly plant of Oshawa, Ontario.
How is the body : It is rust free, surprisingly in very good condition with no dents, it looks like to be all metal with no signs of bondo.
How is the paint : The paint is nice and shiny, it was done right, I found 3 scratches (check pictures) otherwise a very good driver quality paint.
How is the interior : Interior is original except for the RPM gauge and the extra radio. The original radio is still in place, the seats are in good condition as well as the carpet, headliner and door panels, overall the interior is clean and in very good condition.
How is underneath : The frame is in good condition, the floors appears to be original but the driver floor have been redone with sheet metal from inside, it is not pretty but solid. A crossmember in the driver side is rotten and will need to be changed.
How is the engine and trans : The engine is an ET code so it is a period correct 1968 Chevelle 396ci/325hp, it is probably the original engine, it starts and runs good, it will need a choke and a tune up. The transmission have been redone recently and works good.
How is the brake/steering/suspension : The 4 drum brakes works good, the steering and suspension are tight with no road noise, it drives straight, every thing is in order.
Overall : A very nice driver that will require a tune up and some floors repair to make it near to showroom condition.
