1973 Chevrolet Corvette --

The Chevrolet Corvette, known colloquially as the Vette, or Chevy Corvette, is a sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. The car has been produced through seven generations. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette is currently manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky... and is the official sports car of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this numbers matching 1973 Chevrolet Corvette L-82 Convertible for consideration. Finished in a lovely shade of Blue Green metallic, it has a very understated, but classy look. This particular Corvette has been in Kentucky for a while, then to Ohio and just recently Michigan. The car has had a recent repaint in its original color and shows very well. The bucket seats are covered in dark saddle leather ( code 422) and remain in good condition. Other features include tilt wheel, L-82 engine, factory 15" rally wheels, new alternator, 4 speed manual transmission, owners manual The top L-82 350cid V8 is a strong runner and sounds great. Factory specification states output at 250hp and it certainly feels like it. It has great pick up and is a joy to drive. The 4-speed manual transmission is somewhat hard to find and is a great feature in a sports car. The gorgeous exterior of this early model with its chrome bumpers is particularly desirable. A great find for those who love the 70's era Corvette and enjoy a uniquely beautiful ride to enjoy, call us with any questions you may have while it's still here!
