Description:

1965 Chevrolet Corvette

Introduced for the 1963 model year, the C2 generation of Corvette was an instant hit. The car carried over the 327 V8 of 1962, but now with iconic styling and independent rear suspension. In 1963 and 1964, all cars were equipped with 327cid engines, and among the most powerful and desirable of these was the 365hp solid lifter variant. In 1965, the Corvette received disc brakes all around for the first time, addressing a longtime area of criticism of the car.

This particular example is a very correct, well optioned, and beautifully restored example. The vehicle has scored very high percentages and its score cards are virtually perfect in each outing 197 out of 200, 167 out of 172 and 97.5%.
We are aware of the importance of matching numbers to Corvettes of this era. The following is a list of components and their corresponding identification numbers:

According to the previous owner, the car was restored by an NCRS judge, and presents beautifully today. The body has beautifully straight lines with excellent fitment throughout. The paint is done to the high standards that cars of this value deserve today. The brightwork, emblems, and window glass are all in very good condition. The engine bay is highly correct, and nicely detailed. The interior was also included in the restoration, and presents beautifully. The car shows 79,023 miles on the odometer, which is believed to be original form new. We have documented registrations, repair and ownership history.

The car also drives well, and has the feel of a well restored and sorted car. The engine has more than sufficient power and the correct solid lifter sound. When inspected critically by Corvette experts, the car shines. We have made every effort to supply the correct information on the car, but welcome any expert or NCRS judge to look at the car for a perspective buyer. The cars build was finished quite sometime ago and refreshed just recently a few small chips and nicks as expected can be found upon close inspection but overall the car is Stunning.

As classic car values continue to increase, it is highly correct examples of limited production, such as this example, which are likely to enjoy the most substantial appreciation.
