1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 --

An icon in American automotive design known throughout the world! Considered the junior Cadillac to consumers, it possessed the classic 1950's rear fins, plenty of trim to polish from front to back, and a very handsome look overall! Chevrolet called it "Sweet, Smooth, and Sassy!" in their advertising copy. Words that continue to ring true today, and a perfect embodiment of young mid-Fifties America! The Bel Air was a full-size automobile that was produced from 1950-1981 by the Chevrolet division... of General Motors and molded well to each generation that it was produced in. With only two door hardtop variants being produced for the first three production years, the idea of keeping it a model changed along the way as it became a trim level. Starting 1953, Chevrolet continued the Bel Air name but as a unique body shape or as a premium trim that was applied to many different body styles. This continued until the discontinuation of the highly recognized name tag until 1975, but even then it was still produced in Canada for another six years. This model has become one of the most recognizable models in auto shows and continues to be one of the greats of the earlier years of the automotive. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. The Red paint certainly has the Bel Air pop when you see it with the newer White fully functioning power top. The convertible Bel Air definitely sets this one apart. The interior has an updated Tan leather with matching red Chevrolet logos sewn into the seats. The body is in great shape and the chrome bumpers and accent pieces have held their shine and appearance. Also updated were the brakes, with front disc as well as Weld Racing wheels and Pirelli four season tires. The engine is a Chevy small block, with the 2-speed automatic transmission. The car has power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, optima battery, chrome dress up kit on the engine and more. The car was just given over $3,000 in service work. It received new ball joints, new front shocks, new aftermarket transmission cooler. It is something special to see a car with this much cache driving down the road just like it did the 50's, this is one that still gives you the look and all the good feelings that come along with this Bel Air.
