1993 Chevrolet Blazer 4WD NO RESERVE !

Up for Auction is a Chevy S-10 Blazer, Time Capsule, Original Paint, Clean Interior, Runs Well, 4WD!
I just put a new battery into the vehicle for $160 and have driven it. It drives well and was well maintained by a municipality in Oregon.

VEHICLE CONDITION

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and this is true. Please view the numerous photos of the vehicle. As with most vehicles, it could use a thorough light cleaning and a coat of wax with polish to restore backs to its original beauty. The undercarriage is very clean and virtually rust free. There is a spare which seems actually much better than the tires on the Blazer. If I were to invest in anything for this car, I would look for a very good set of tires. If you look hard, you should be able to find a great set of 14s for under $300. That is money well spent.
I have a very nice set of winter studded tires that are available for purchase and they are on their rims, should you wish to go with 15 inch tires and have a winter set to go with the 14 inch all seasons that are currently on the Blazer.
The interior is remarkably clea, especially for a municipal vehicle. It appears to have been purchased about 1999 by the city in Oregon and had about 55,000 miles on at that time. Pretty lightly used since then; adding approximately 5,000 miles or so a year.
Transmission shifts through the gears as it should. Brakes stop the car well enough, maybe a little soft and need to be bled from sitting a few months before going to auction. All in all, well maintained and a nice time capsule of the 93 S-10 Blazer variety.
I would definitely have it given the once over before a long trip as with any car, great to check all the belts and hoses before setting out. Even nice to put a belt under your seat. They only seem to break at 2am on Sunday in towns of like 17 people when you have to be 500 miles away at an airport the next morning. Yes, it actually happened to me. I would be pleased to meet you at the Reno Airport if you fly in.
