1969 Chevrolet Corvette

You are bidding at NO RESERVE on a gorgeous 1969 Corvette Convertible 4-speed, this beauty is a super nice driver and will definitely put a big smile on your face. I just spent 5,000 and had the entire car repainted original 1969 Monza Red and it looks stunning, super nice shine, no waves, not perfect but definitely a very nice paint job as you can tell by the pictures. The body is in excellent shape, no cracks or chips, no scratches, etc. The front bumper was replaced a year ago and looks like new, the rears are original and show some wear but are still good driver quality. Most of the other trim and stainless are original to the car and show normal wear but still in great shape. The previous owner got tired of always dealing with the vacuum lines on the headlights and wiper door so he eliminated the entire system with a late model 73-77 Corvette hood and remounted the headlights in the grille. The original holes are fiber glassed over and it could easily be put back to original if desired but honestly it looks very nice and the headlights and wipers work flawlessly. I attached a picture of the car in the paint booth so you can tell it was done right.
The interior is mostly original but in very nice shape, the seats are leather and were redone a few years back and still look like new, the carpet was also replaced a few years ago and looks nice. Everything else is original to the car with minimal wear. All of the gauges work including the CLOCK. The original tach works but when the engine was rebuilt a MSD billet distributor was installed and it doesn't have the tach drive. The soft top and frame was replaced a year ago and still looks new. A new classic industries radio with USB was installed and looks like the factory radio with speakers and an amp behind the seats so you can enjoy some tunes while cruising with the top down.
The engine is the original 350 010 4-bolt block that was completely rebuilt, the block was taken down and bored .30 over and honed. It was completely decked and machined. A forged GM crank was installed with high performance rods. J&E pistons were installed for 10 1/2 to 1 ratio. Clevite bearings and a high volume oil pump were installed as well. Original GM 2.02 heads were installed all rebuilt, and the camshaft is a custom ground 282 duration with a nice healthy idle. It was topped off with a torker intake and a 750 CFM Demon carburetor. As mentioned earlier all the ignition was converted to MSD pro-billet with 6AL rev limiter box and coil. The exhaust is Hooker Super Competition Chrome Side Pipes that draw attention wherever you go. The engine only has about 3000 miles on it since being rebuilt, it fires right up and sounds very healthy, it doesn't run hot at all as the radiator was replaced at the time of the engine rebuild. It has a very nice chrome package installed that really draws a crowd at the shows as well.
The transmission was all rebuilt at the time of the engine rebuild and is the original Muncie with a new high performance clutch, it shifts extremely well, very tight and crisp.
The rear was gone through and all parts that needed replacing were replaced. It goes down the road very nice no humming or strange sounds. Most of the suspension has been replaced and kept up throughout the years and again it rides very nice.
The wheels and tires are the original Corvette Rallys with new Tigar Paw tires.
The underneath and frame are very solid norust or rot the birdcage, etc is rust free and in excellent shape you would be hard pressed to find one nicer.
As mentioned earlier it is highly optioned with Vintage A/C that blows ice cold, Power Steering, Power 4 wheel disc brakes, etc. It is a very nice driving car that is sure to bring much enjoyment for years to come. The car doesn't leak a drop of anything, it doesn't run hot, and is super dependable. Also included is the original Hardtop painted to match the car.
Take a look at the pictures and the car looks even better in person.Do not let this one slip past your collection you will regret it.
